Amtrak F40PH's 247 and 237 slow the California Zephyr to its station stop at Martinez, CA on October 9, 1985. Since the train is going to stop at the station, train orders are not hooped up for the train. In a precious few years, all vestiges of train order operations will be gone from this scene, including the train order hoops, the train order signal, and sadly, the operator.
