Modesto and Empire Traction GE 70-tonners 604 and 605 roll along the M&ET's "mainline" adjacent to Highway 132 with a cut of 16 cars that they have picked up from the BNSF's interchange at Empire. The pair of 1950's era engines are part of fleet of 10 70-tonners that the M&ET keep in excellent condition. November 23, 2004.
