Trona AS616's 54 and 52 are pulling a cut of loaded Borax cars around the big curve between Trona and Westend. These old warriors had only a couple of years left before rebuilt SD45-2's displaced them and the SP power that would be borrowed for the runs down to Searles. March 23, 1989.
