The morning of November 23, 2004 finds a westbound BNSF stack train stashed in the siding at Collier, CA, awaiting space in the Richmond or Oakland Intermodal yards for its cargo. BNSF GE's 4760-1053-4534 are ready for the last few miles into town. Date:

The radio crackles "...9293 West...", so setting up across from the Denair Amtrak platform, I expect to see a former BN white-face SD60M loom out of the haze, not a Norfolk Southern C44-9W. NS9293 is leading BNSF 847, 7161, and 7806 with a stack train running at full track speed. One shot is all you get! Date:
