Another shot of Santa Fe FM H-12-44TS 543 at the CSRM, Sacramento, CA. The H-12-44TS was a unique model built for the Santa Fe; basically a H-12-44 switcher on a long frame, the high short hood held a steam generator to provide steam heat for Santa Fe passenger trains as they were switched in Chicago. The Santa Fe had three examples of the H-12-44TS and the 543 is the only survivor. Date:
